Die Hochschule bietet allen Beschäftigten und Studierenden durch den VPN-Zugang weltweiten Zugriff auf spezielle Dienste. Dies ermöglicht es in Zeiten von Home-Office und Online-Lehre das Remote-Arbeiten bestmöglich zu unterstützen. Im Februar 2021 wurde aus diesem Grund eine vollständig neue Infrastruktur in Betrieb genommen. Die neueste Generation einer VPN-Software steht nun zur Verfügung, die Windows, MacOS, Linux, iOS und Android in den aktuellsten Versionen unterstützt.

The university provides all employees and students with worldwide access to specific services through the VPN connection. This allows for optimal support of remote work during times of home office and online teaching. As a result, a completely new infrastructure was put into operation in February 2021. The latest generation of VPN software is now available, which supports Windows, MacOS, Linux, iOS, and Android in their latest versions.

Mithilfe des VPN können Sie eine sichere und verschlüsselte Verbindung zum Hochschulnetz der HFT Stuttgart von Ihrem privaten Rechner aus aufbauen, auch wenn Sie sich in anderen Netzwerken befinden. Hierfür können Sie Ihren Computer mit Internetanschluss von zu Hause aus nutzen oder Ihren Laptop mitbringen und das WLAN der HFT Stuttgart verwenden. Durch die VPN-Verbindung wird Ihr Rechner Teil des Hochschulnetzes, was Ihnen Zugang zu Funktionen und Diensten ermöglicht, die normalerweise nur an einem Computer innerhalb der Hochschule verfügbar wären.

Using VPN, you can establish a secure and encrypted connection to the HFT Stuttgart university network from your personal computer, even when you are in other networks. You can use your computer with internet access from home or bring your laptop and use the HFT Stuttgart's wireless LAN. The VPN connection makes your computer part of the university network, giving you access to features and services that would otherwise only be available on a computer within the university.

Voraussetzung

Sie benötigen einen VPN-Account an der HFT Stuttgart. Wenn Sie einen E-Mail-Account an der HFT Stuttgart haben, besitzen Sie in der Regel auch einen VPN-Account. Benutzername und Passwort sind identisch mit E-Mail / Moodle.
Darüber hinaus benötigen Sie einen Laptop mit WLAN-Karte, wenn Sie an der HFT Stuttgart online sein möchten oder
einen Rechner mit Internetzugang, wenn Sie zuhause arbeiten möchten.

Requirements

You need a VPN account at the HFT Stuttgart. If you have an mail account at HFT Stuttgart, you automatically should have a VPN account. Username and password are identical to email / Moodle.

VPN access options at the HfT Stuttgart

The HFT Stuttgart offers its students and employees two different ways to access the university network via VPN:
